Oh no we're all dead she may out them if she feels like it :(
But I feel like she'd understand. She wouldn't hurt them and force kim out like that. I'm praying I'm right.
I hope she doesn't take this too hard because he can't help who he likes or loves. She can't change that and I hope she is a good person because she seems like she is.
She's a great character, but get posture doesn't scream 'happy'. She may be feeling a little hurt aced foolish. Didn't she tell Kylee that She liked Kim? It's Breen a while. But she may feel silly that she made a fuss, and they didn't trust her to tell her? Well either way we'll see how this plays out.
I canât tell if thereâs gonna be âOh no Cassie outed usâ or âSorry Cassie, I stole your crushâ but also, what if this brings up the opportunity for Kim and Kylee to be like âwait are we dating? Cause weâve kinda been doing dating stuff, what are we?â When itâs resolved. Iâd hate it if Cassie didnât say anything to them though cause sheâd probably snap and accidentally tell someone else and end up crying (which is sad because Cassie is so sweet!)
Odds are she's disappointed. That's okay, she's allowed to be disappointed. We're all disappointed when we realize our crushes won't ever reciprocate.
I don't think she'll out him. Yes, it would add drama to the story if she did, but I didn't get the impression that Cassie had the spiteful or cruel quality necessary to do that. I'm sure the author will find some other way for this to cause drama, and I can think of a few.
My best guess is:
* Others notice Cassie's mood is ddown, she denies it, and they go to talk to Kim about it. Kim either puts two and two together, or talks to Cassie THEN puts two and two together. Kim has plenty of insecurities on his own, plus being in the closet, and I can see that causing its own drama with Kylee.
or
* People notice Cassie has stopped trying to flirt with Kim, possibly that she's being deliberately distant to him and Kylee, and ask her what's up. Cassie gives a generic answer of how she knows it wouldn't work out or he's interested in someone else.
Neither of these drama-hooks require Cassie to be an asshole or out Kim. But you know this knowledge will change Cassie's behavior, and I suspect people will notice, because they know Cassie. Plus, it's a small town.
Final guess:
* It's also possible Cassie will vent about unreciprocated interest to a friend, in more general terms-- e.g over text or in person. She might not mention Kim by name, but may still talk in general terms of how she liked someone and it turns out he's already taken or gay. Kim either finds out about this conversation, or the person she vents to makes the connection themselves.
All kinds of possibilities, none of them requiring Cassie to be an asshole.
I think it'd be interesting if they walked out of the room and found Cassie there. They're laughing, and then her being there would make Kim go pale considering the topic of conversation.
Almost seems like the end is in sight. Cassie is chill with it but the boys out themselves anyway after talking with her and the farmhands. They go on in a happy healthy relationship while Cassie and Wes get their own sidestory arcs. Of course no part of me wants it to end! But it'd be a sweet tie-up for the emo and cowboy
Oh no I'm so worried! I don't think Cassie's the type to out them but she might feel betrayed because Kylee didn't tell her about Kim. Hopefully she realizes that it just wasn't Kylee's place to reveal that kind of stuff about another person!
Well, at least she's not like Wes. He would probably record all that for future references or something.
But I feel like she'd understand. She wouldn't hurt them and force kim out like that. I'm praying I'm right.
... but I feel sadly that drama is about to happen

She heard them
She heard them
But chica, don't you ruin this. Just lick your wounds, take the L and let it go. Do not do anything questionable. Please.
